For KIDS:
Rules to avoid being kidnapped kidlets!
1. Never Talk to Strangers: Strangers may or may not be bad people. It’s safe to assume most of them are creepers.
2. Never walk by yourself: Always have a buddy with you, even if it’s a couple blocks. A piranha sucks when it’s by itself, but when they’re in a school, they eat a whole cow in seconds! Be in a group!
3. Carry an Attention Grabbing Device: I like whistles, they are annoying and easy to use. If poop ever hits the fan, be sure to blow on the whistle and make as much noise as possible.
4. Let people know your travel plans: Make sure you have a map of the area, and make sure someone knows where you are alls the time.
5. Stay in public places: Well Lit and Crowded places are the best place to be.
6. Know who to call when you need help: Here are a Few Suggestions – Police Officer, Fireman, Ambulance Guy, Teacher, Parent, Relative
7. Plan an escape route: If you need to run away, run to a familiar place with people. Suggestions include: Coffee Shops (there’s a Starbucks every couple blocks), Community Centers, Community Police Stations, YMCA, Hapkido-Vancouver…
